On the topic of heat-induced proteins, has anyone heard about hyperthermia therapy at more moderate temperatures to induce HSF-1 & HSPs acting as chaperones? This seems the purpose of arimoclomol trials on a chemically-induced basis. What about actual heat-shock using sauna, immersion etc to temporarily raise core temperature?

Saunas and heat immersion are interesting thoughts pRex, but probably not practical or safe. These would fall under “unproven alternative treatments.”
