Every pALS faces many challenges as ALS progresses. These challenges can be emotional, psychological, physical, and/or mental. Do you think these challenges are different if a pALS is under the age of 30 when diagnosed? How much do you think age impacts a person with ALS (and how a pALS approaches challenges)  or do you think it matters? What other factors may impact how a pALS reacts to their diagnosis and/or approaches the challenges and changes in their life?

Although we know anyone at any age can get ALS, most people are diagnosed after the age of 50. I’ve had relatives as young as 24 diagnosed with ALS. Has anyone found support groups or resources specifically for younger people with ALS?
