What is your favorite Memory?
We spend a lot of our time discussing ALS, fears, treatments, stressors and all kinds of things related to ALS. Let us take a minute and share some fun facts and/or favorite memories!!
We are so much more than just ALS.
Some of my fun facts: I’m a gen xer! I grew up on Navy bases and ….I was expelled from kindergarten in Tennessee. (That’s only a fun fact now that I’m in my 50s)
Favorite memory – When I was a child my grandfather was Sheriff of Advance, Missouri. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks with him each summer, and usually Christmas break. I did get to spend two summers with him when I was 9 and 10 years old. We would get up every morning and drive to two grocery stores (had to buy from both to be fair); post office and stop off at Charlie’s Cut Rate. These mornings were so special to me and he remains my hero. He was a real life Andy Griffith 🙂
